I Am Just Me

" Few things in life are more infectious than a Godly lifestyle. The people you rub shoulders with everyday need that kind of challenge. Not prudish. Not preachy. Just honest-to-goodness, bone-deep, non-hypocritical integrity. Authentic obedience to God." - Charles R. Swindoll

Just more random things

O.k. What has happened?? Well, I went to that wedding yesterday. It was pretty good - not too big or fancy. I really didn't get to talk to the kids too much. My mom talked to the oldest daughter Christine. Christine said she was there and that was pretty much it. She said its a final goodbye. I think she meant to her mom and now to her dad. I sat there watching the kids across the room before the ceremony started and I thought of how hard it must be for them. I can't imagine how it must feel to sit there and watch one of your parents pledge their life to someone new, to kiss someone thats not your other parent, to start a new life with another person. I tried to imagine one of my parents with someone else and it was really hard. I don't know if I could handle it. Even though their mom has been gone 4 years, it must still be really hard for the kids. They could use alot of prayer.

Yesterday morning, my sis, bro, and I went to clean at a business in town for the cleaning company we work for once in awhile. The place we were at is huge an deverything is gray. Gray walls, gray cubicles, gray floors, gray countertops, gray everything. Its quite depressing. Anyway, my brother and I were at one end of the building and all of a sudden the alarm goes off. We find my sister and she said she was bringing the garbage out and it went off. I quick called our boss who was across the street cleaning the clinic. He came over and called the security company but they had already dispatched the cops. They had to call them back. Quite embarassing.

Hmmm..... what else?? Oh yeah, I still can't get my locker open. Any suggestions? I considered bringing an axe with me and busting it open but I have a feeling that wouldn't go over too good with the principle and everybody else there. They'd probably think I was some deranged homeschooler or something:)

If you are using the type of combination locker I think you are, I very much dislike them. I tried using one on a locker while I was at state fair, but only used it once because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get back into it. Ugh. :) That is sad about the family. I hope they can adjust to each other. :(

LOL! I love Woody's comment. It might work, but I would be a little careful. :)

If you try tools, I'd try bolt cutters before an axe.

Either way, unless you're unusually strong and/or good with tools you'll probably have trouble busting the lock.

On the other hand, it might just be easiest to buy a similar combination lock and practice a bit.
